Welcome to the Mainpeak Multisport, a race that’s set to become an iconic multidiscipline endurance event journeying through Perth’s Avon Valley and Swan Valley hinterlands in Western Australia.

The Mainpeak Multisport matches adventure with speed, and challenge with beauty, linking the pursuits of trail running, road cycling and paddling together into one epic 133km journey through stunning environments finishing at the renowned Houghtons Winery in the Swan Valley.

Starting in the historic main street of Toodyay, teams and individual competitors will tackle:

  • 7.5km Toodyay Trail Run
  • 63km Julimar Road Ride
  • 22km Meadowbrook Road Ride
  • 19km Icebreaker Trail Run
  • 6km Bells White Water Paddle
  • 16km Swan Valley Vineyard River Paddle
  • 700m Houghtons Team Run

The course is open to all levels of athletic ability and may be completed as an individual doing all legs or as a relay team of between 3 and 6 people.

Mainpeak Multisport returns to Perth

One of Australia’s toughest multisport events is returning to Perth this year with the announcement that the Mainpeak Multisport - famously labelled by Perth-based professional triathlete, Sean O’Neill, as “harder than Ironman” - is set for Sunday 9 September, 2012.
